Speedway Motors 9301100 Details

Note: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizingBlue-awayorSimi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.

These headers really added some bling to my 27 T coupe! They really look good. But the baffles rattle and one actually fell out on the interstate. Speedway was very quick to replace the lost baffle and have not had any problems since. Being SS they do turn blue and off color very fast but some polish gets most of it out.

These headers made my T-Bucket really look sharp. Above all they look nice and I had no trouble installing them. I do have to remind the ladies to watch their legs so that they don't get burnt as they exit the cart.

These are a very well built set of headers, and fit very well on the car I bought them for. The only negative, would be that because they dont have removable extensions, they won't fit on my t-bucket.

Is it possible to shorten the ends on these somewhat? Is it possible to shorten the ends on these somewhat? I like these headers, but not real fond of the end tips. I'd prefer a straight 'balogna' cut, plus they might need to be shortened some to clear my T-bucket's rear tire. Another concern with this would be interference with the baffles. How much can be trimmed back before you'd come close to them?

Do these headers need a hanger attachment? When I received my headers I noticed a bracket with a bolt hole. In the video I don't see any bracket supporting the aft end of the pipes where the bracket is. Is a support need for the aft end of the pipes?

Heat treated Do these Shotguns also come in the heat treated htc so they won't blue out. I really like the looks of these headers but not a big fan of the bluing that does happen with heat. My 1930 Ford Model A has a sbc 67 327 and think these are what I am looking for, so would or do you sell the heat treated ones. Thanks

manufacturer of these headers Who is the manufacturer of these headers? Is the S.S. T304? Will the manufacturer work with a consumer to customize the tube direction on cyl #1 and 2 to clear front tires? Can you tell me the total length from tip to tip?
