Speedway Motors 91081137 Details

This motor stand is light, compact and priced so low anyone can afford them. You can even leave the tranny attached. The stand is made with 1" x 2" x 14 gauge tubing. The mounting plate is made with 1/4" steel. The stand has 9 -1/4" clearance w/o casters to fit the deep oil pans. Mounting bolts are included.

Note: The engine storage stand will NOT clear the "batwings" of a C5 Corvette oil pan when it is bolted to an LS engine. 

Add the optional caster wheel set # 910-81139 to make it mobile.

I would buy again

The LS stand is perfect for storing my LS2 under my work bench. Totally worth it. The only negative I would give is the horrible paint job and a few weld spots. Paint is spotty with clear and satin finish. You can tell someone touched it up. Would be better powder coated but I don't really care unless your stand needs to be perfect. To me it does the job. Maybe later I'll send it to my buddy's powder coating shop once the engine is in my Malibu.

Gets the job done but is ugly.

This kit is easy to assemble,light, and gets the job done. However The welds are ugly and the paint was chipped when I got it and as I handled it the paint just kept chipping

I added 2" square cross tubes with nutserts and caster wheels so that I could easily push the engine around. One could even use this as a test run stand. I connected the transmission and did a test crank to verify oil pressure and set the lifter preload with this setup.
