After Market Master Cylinder
I bought this master cylinder to replace a standard GM single master cylinder on a 64 Pontiac Tempest. I bought it knowing the mounting holes on the new part were about 1/4" closer than the original so I just had to reem out the holes a bit and she bolted right up. It looks good and is under $40.00. 2 thumbs up, Dil

Works OK
I have used several of these, the first one as an exact replacement for a defective one on a T-Bucket I had purchased. I have since rebuilt my entire brake system and installed another new one. After bench bleeding and installing it appeared to be OK but then completely failed after a few test pumps. I discovered that the pushrod hadn't seated in the cylinder but hung up and then snapped into place. It then worked OK after re-adjusting the pushrod. This could have been very serious on the road because you have no braking at all if the cylinder doesn't go far enough in. If you use this cylinder, make certain the pushrod is all the way in and snap ring is engaged – test it by pulling out.

I have an old 1923 T-Bucket that was originally built by someone else. When I need parts, it's very difficult to figure out what vehicle the parts originally came off of. When I needed this master cylinder, Speedway had all the specs listed (measurements) which allowed me to easily match it up. After 6 trips to different auto parts stores with the old master cylinder in hand, they all said the same thing which everyone is familiar with - What make and year did it come from? Should have come to Speedway first and saved a bunch of gas money. Thanks!

I had to modify brake lines but knew that when I ordered it. Have no ideas what I put on my 29 Tudor back in 1989. This one worked perfectly!
