Customers attest to the product's quality and practicality, praising the master cylinder's sturdy construction, specifically mentioning the valuable addition of a stainless steel sleeve to ensure longevity. The authenticity of the mid-70s design appeals to many, and its efficient usability is noted in its ease of installation and fit in various modes, from Ford pickups to roadsters. The fact that it works well with both disc and drum brakes offers flexibility, and clients commend the noticeable improvement in stopping power after installation. A few reviews note some missing fittings, but it doesn't detract from the overall positive feedback. The product is regarded as a great value proposition when compared to pricier alternatives, without sacrificing quality or performance.

Great product
Recieved this packaged well and arrived on time. Installed as a replacement master cylinder for my 23 T bucket which was leaking. Unit worked well and was easy to bleed and install. Would recommend this unit to anyone needing a replacement or new install of a master cylinder.

Bought this master cylinder to replace the worn cylinder that I installed on my hotrod Model A w/SBC, that I built from scratch, 20 + years ago. It was a direct replacement for the original that needed rebuilt & was leaking. The stainless steel sleeve was what sold me on this cylinder!

I love the way this master cylinder looks on the firewall of my Ford F-1 pickup project. The stainless steel sleeve should ensure a long service life. Speedway's parts always deliver a great value. This one is no different.

I bought this master cylinder to be a direct replacement for the one I got as part of a brake pedal kit years ago, but the new cylinder has different sized outlets that now required adapter fittings, not included. I love the positive feel I get with this new master cylinder and can't believe how quick it gets my roadster stopped.

Is there a spec for the total stroke/travel of the piston? I am using my existing pedal/pushrod setup and I want to make sure that the piston is being fully actuated. Should the piston be "bottoming out" before the pedal hits the floor? Thank you for your time.

I have this master and would like to use it on the rod I'm building . It has "metric" GM calipers front and rear. I will use a pro portioning valve on the rear line . Will it have enough volume and pressure to function in this application ? My pedal ratio is over 6/1 with manual brakes . Thanks much for the advice !

What is the pushrod diameter, length and thread? My current pushrod on the Total Performance T-Bucket is 4" long, 7/16 thread, 20 pitch. I need a longer one. Does the pushrod that comes with the master cylinder have 7/16 - 20 fine thread? Thanks.
