Speedway Motors offers this billet aluminum electronic distributor for the fabulous 1949-1953 Flathead Ford.

Billet 6061-T6 aluminum housing
Hardened steel shaft
Sealed ball bearing & sintered busing
Extremely accurate magnetic pickup
Mechanical advance only (no vacuum advance)
Comes with drive gear installed

NOTE: Requires high energy electronic control box # 547-5520 and coil # 910-8223.

Replacement rotor: 911-1009

Replacement pickup: 547-84661

Replacement gear: 910-12701

Distributor to ignition box cable extension assembly: 547-8860

Replacement cap: 911-1028

Application

Must use spacer # 910-1010 when using this distributor with our Flathead front timing cover # 910-15632.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. my car isnt drivable yet and i havent bougfht the control module yet either(next paycheck) but one thing i dont like is the wire hold down if your building a period appearing car (like i am)that has to come off including the bosses for its hold down screw on top of the cap thats my only negative so far in the description in you catalog you should also state that it does have the gear installed on it i was worried that it didnt
