Street Stock Crate Motor Headers from Schoenfeld

  • Fits 602 Crate Engine in:
    • 1973-1988 Chevy Malibu, Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, Olds Cutlass, Buick Regal
    • 1970-1981 Camaro
  • Clears side and rear engine mounts. Will fit straight or angle plug heads.
  • Will not fit stock manual clutch linkage ball or air-condition box. Must use short oil filter, such as Wix 51069 or AC PF24
  • Bolts and gaskets included
  • 1 5/8" Tube Diameter
  • 3" Collector Diameter
  • 8" Collector Length

Installed on a 81 Malibu classic (wagon) they fit perfectly extremely close to the frame on passenger side which makes for plenty of room for a starter. It cleared my heater box with no issues. Plenty of room for spark plugs and wires on top of header or under the header. Definitely need the short oil filter for these headers.

I have a 602 that came out of sprint car and out this into my street stock. I have to modify it a bit to work and clear my oil pan other then that they work amazing!

Haven't bought a new set of headers since I can't remember when, so I may have been a little rusty on first time installation but was very disappointed in the fact that several of the holes in the flanges had to be opened up a little bit more to get the bolts in straight, plus had to put some dents in the tubes to even be able to turn the bolts. Also clearly says gaskets and bolts included which I did not get any. I was on a time crunch so didn't have a chance to exchange them but luckily I had an extra set of gaskets and the old bolts handy. Guess I should have opened the box sooner than when I was ready to put them on.
