It's praised for its easy installation process, strong performance, and effective wiring system that simplifies the vehicle modification process. It has been effectively used in various vintage cars, including Studebakers, Chevrolets, and Corvettes. The product stands out among competitors due to the absence of external relays, which enhances its usability and functionality. It's well-recommended by customers, who generally state they would buy the product again, marking it as a reliable solution for heavy latches and non-functioning door poppers. I bought this to replace the door poppers on a 54 Studebaker Champion. The ones on it when I bought it didn't work remotely. Only the driver's side worked with the emergency switch. This unit allowed me to eliminate about 9 feet of wiring and three relays. I mounted my receiver behind the glove box, and the wires were too short to reach from the driver's door. I was able to use some of the wires from unused functions to make up the difference. Not a big deal, but the less connections on any wiring is a plus in my book. If I had mounted it in the center of the dash, the wires would have reached fine. Just no room in my case. So far , works better than I imagined.

I used this kit to open the doors on a 1973 Corvette. Women have a hard time with the flapper type outside door handles on these cars. These work much better than a kit I used on another car. There are no external relays to deal with which makes installation a snap. The relays have plenty of power to open heavy latches.
