I bought this to replace the door poppers on a 54 Studebaker Champion. The ones on it when I bought it didn't work remotely. Only the driver's side worked with the emergency switch. This unit allowed me to eliminate about 9 feet of wiring and three relays. I mounted my receiver behind the glove box, and the wires were too short to reach from the driver's door. I was able to use some of the wires from unused functions to make up the difference. Not a big deal, but the less connections on any wiring is a plus in my book. If I had mounted it in the center of the dash, the wires would have reached fine. Just no room in my case. So far , works better than I imagined.

I used this kit to open the doors on a 1973 Corvette. Women have a hard time with the flapper type outside door handles on these cars. These work much better than a kit I used on another car. There are no external relays to deal with which makes installation a snap. The relays have plenty of power to open heavy latches.
