Ultimate Cooling Performance 

You need a fan shroud. Closing off the area of the radiator core that's not covered by the fans makes those electric fans way more effective at pulling air through the core. And that moving air makes a big difference in cooling an unruly hot rod engine. Trouble is, certain fan layouts mean that a big chunk of the radiator can be covered by the shroud. That may be fine around town when the fans are handling the majority of airflow through the radiator, but out on the road it can mean trouble. When the car and engine are at speed, that air being forced through the radiator can really help to keep things cool. If the shroud is blocking the radiator tubes, you’re essentially closing off that part of the radiator.  

That's where these Fan Shroud Rubber Bypass Flaps comes in. When you're sitting in traffic with the fan running, they’re closed against the shroud. Keeping things closed off lets the fans work as they should. Hit the road and they open up to allow all that fresh air through the core, allowing you to have the best of both worlds.
