These premium aluminum bodied shocks are not a revalved race shock - they were built specifically for street rods. QA1 shocks feature 18 easily adjustable rebound settings to fine tune your hot rod's ride. Has 5/8" I.D. mounting eyes and includes 1/2" bushing. Sold as a pair.

The previous owner had installed a set of 3 (three) inch lowering blocks PLUS A set of ATV lookin' shocks on the rear of my 48 Chevrolet Stylemaster...... REAL JAKE - LEG like......BUT the 11 inch QA-1 Coilover SOLVED my problem and RESTORED the comfortable ride the car should have had.

I will buy this product again as long as I live!

I installed them on the front of my 1934 Ford Tudor sedan and I'm going to replace the coil overs on the rear of the car now even though the shocks are still good. I just love the QA-1 coil overs that must!

Are these half car weights plus or minus unsprung weight ? Also, why does the spring rate reduce for a given weight as the spring length increases ? Example: I have a 1934 Ford steel sedan. It weighs 3140 lbs. with half gas and driver. Given the 55/45 front- back weight division I would have 1413 lbs. on the rear. Subtracting 300 lbs. unsprung weight leaves me with approx. 1100 lbs. rear car weight to support. Do you have a recommendation for a set of QA1 kits mounted at 20/25 degrees ? This is a solid axle car. I've searched high and low for a reasonably accurate answer and at best they have been vague or direct me to some chart. I haven't made a final decision as to mounting length but will be approx. 12 inches center to center. Thanks. HT.
