    This trick little spacer is just what you need if you are looking to adapt an old GM gearbox to an early Ford bellhousing. This adapter mates a GM manual transmission to 1949-1964 Ford or 1951-1964 Mercury bellhousings. Adapter also comes with a proper pilot bushing adapter sleeve. Utilizing this adapter will space the transmission 5/8" away from the bellhousing.

    I had asked about your other adaptor plate similar to this one, Ford trans to gm.. I received bolt hole measurements that did not match to what I have. The bolt hole measurements of this one, do match up in fact.. I'm trying to mate an early Ford T10, with the early NARROW bolt pattern, to a sbc.     I am going to use this adapter to mate my saginaw 4spd to my 8ba flathead in my t-bucket. What clutch and pressure plate is to be used for the 10 spline saginaw? Also what throw out bearing and pilot bearing is to be used? Is there bushing/collars needed for this install?
