Details

The Nostalgia T frame is engineered to provide the ultimate in economy and ease of assembly. It features the same spring-behind-axle front suspension as the Budget T, but includes front shock/headlight mounts. The coilover rear suspension uses traditional-style radius rods and a panhard bar, with all necessary mounts welded in place. If youre looking for an affordable, well-engineered T-bucket chassis requiring only basic mechanical skills to assemble, the Nostalgia T is for you!

Shown with optional rearend and engine mounts installed. This part number does not include a rear axle housing or engine/transmission mounts (as pictured). If you wish to add these items to your chassis, simply purchase these items along with your frame kit.

Rear Axle Housing Option:

Part# 715700 - Speedway Ford 9 Inch Rear Axle Housing Kit for T-Bucket Chassis, 31-Spline, 56 Inch Width.

  • Includes an all-new housing, tubes and new-style big Ford ends, lifetime warranty, 31-spline axles with dual bolt pattern (5 on 4.5" and 5 on 4.75") and new axle bearings.
  • Necessary suspension brackets will be welded to the housing, according to which chassis you order.
  • Option is only available with the purchase of a T-Bucket frame.
  • Center section NOT included.

Engine / Transmission Crossmember options available:

Part# 715500 - Small Block Chevy and TH350 Auto Trans Mount Option For T Frame Kit

  • This T frame kit option includes tubular engine and transmission crossmembers welded into a '23 or '27 T-Bucket frame. Will accept S/B Chevy engine and TH-350 or TH-400 transmissions.

Part# 715600 - Small Block Ford and C4 Auto Trans Mount Option for T Frame Kit

  • This T-frame option will include tubular engine and transmission crossmembers welded into your '23 or '27 T-Bucket chassis. Will accept S/B Ford engine and C-4 transmission only.
  • Due to clearance issue with the Vega steering box, you will need to either remote mount the oil filter or make use of the 90 degree oil filter adaptor # 910-6880.

Note: When ordering either of these options with a T-Bucket frame kit, the frame will be shipped with these crossmembers welded to it.  As such, this engine/transmission crossmember option must be ordered with a T frame kit.   This is not available separate of a T frame kit.

All of our T kits are also available with chrome suspension. This option includes chrome plated: front and rear hairpins, rear coilovers, front axle, front leaf spring, front shocks, steering arms, tie rod, drag link, and related hardware.

This product requires a 3-4 week build time.

Great buying experience. Speedway has technical experts who personally have assembled the kit so they are extremely knowledgeable about details.

How far back from the front of the frame is the center of the front radius rod tab. I bought everything in the kit, and I chose to do some of the welding. Speedway built the frame and welded in the engine crossmember and transmission crossmember for me.

Does the body come already on the chassis? Does the body come mounted on the chassis? I would like to know because I want to channel the car a certain amount, is that possible with this kit or is there a set channel amount? Thanks

BBC with and 8-71 going to a TH350 I am putting together a BBC 427 connected to a TH350 automatic running an 8-71 supercharger built for fun on the street and mostly looks and the occasional getting on it just because. My estimate is around 700 HP with this combination and I am wondering if the chassis would take that. It will not be abused it is being built for fun but it will be inevitable to sometimes want to get on it and have fun. Also is there a complete kit or can a complete kit be ordered so that all parts are onsite at the same time instead of having to start and stop a build when parts run out. If so how much would a "kit" of this nature cost? For the front axle could an I beam type with the holes drilled in it be ordered. That is the look I would like to go after.

For a SBF engine is it better to have a front sump or rear sump oil pan installed when using this chassis or can you use either Just want to be sure before I install the oil pan for the motor I am building to go into this kit once I order the kit.

Would this frame support a SBF putting out 370 HP with the proper rear end and drive shaft. Planning on buy this kit in the near future but need to know if it will support the power train I am building now SBF 302 with stroker kit estimated flywheel HP 370 when done might be bit high on the HP estimate.
