I have had one of these for years, went to change the boot, and the knob wouldn't unscrew, I twisted harder and the threaded end came off, so I ordered another, it is great and looks just the same.

lever length Does the 16" lokar shifter measurement include the base and shift knob or its it just the lever length, making the total height greater. Many thanks
