Looking for U-bolts for that smaller axle housing? These leaf spring U-bolts fit 2-1/2" diameter axle tubes such as those found on the Ford 8" and GM 10-bolt. They are made from heat-treated and zinc-plated steel to ensure long life and durability. U-bolts also feature a generous length to accommodate lowering blocks (sold separately) to fine tune your ride height.

I used these along with 2" lowering blocks to bring the rear of my '36 Dodge pickup down. Fit over axle was perfect and through lower shock plates. They were longer than I needed so I cut the ends off. The only negative I found was the 1/2" threads seemed to be a little oversized. I used my original '36 nuts to keep the look original and most of them I had a hard time running the nuts on the threads. Both u-bolts were 1/2" fine thread. Other than that issue I am happy.

Says 2.5" in ad, when I get them they are 2.75 inner diameter. I already have the 2.75 ones that don't work. Now I paid $14.13 in shipping and will have to pay return shipping for something that is listed incorrectly. I am not a rich man, this hurts. Please get it correct.
