Kirkey 3817011KIT Details

The KIRKEY 38 Series Standard Layback Seat Kit is designed to provide racers with a lightweight, durable, and comfortable seating solution for a variety of grassroots and entry-level racing applications. Built from .100-inch thick 5052-grade aluminum using TIG and MIG welding processes, this seat offers excellent strength while keeping weight to a minimum. Its unique bottom design allows for mounting angles from 10° to 20° of layback without increasing the vehicle's center of gravity, making it well-suited for a wide range of race car chassis configurations.

Additional reinforcement comes from bolt-on rib braces, a welded interior headrest plate, and a perimeter aluminum extrusion for enhanced structural integrity. The seat is equipped with openings for lap, shoulder, and submarine belts, complete with molded rubber inserts for a clean finish and belt protection. Included with the kit is a removable padded cover available in black vinyl or black tweed, featuring quilted construction, high-density foam padding, and reinforced stitching at key stress points to maximize driver comfort and durability.
