Constructed from .100-inch thick 5052-grade aluminum with TIG and MIG-welded construction, the seat provides outstanding strength while maintaining low weight. Its unique seat-bottom design allows mounting positions from 10° to 20° of layback without raising the vehicle's center of gravity.
For enhanced safety and durability, the seat features bolt-on rib braces, a welded interior headrest plate, and an offset aluminum perimeter extrusion. Integrated lap, shoulder, and submarine belt openings accommodate a wide range of racing harness systems, while molded rubber inserts help protect belt webbing. The included snap-on cover is fully padded and available in black vinyl or black tweed, utilizing quilted construction, reinforced stitching, and high-density foam padding to provide excellent support and comfort during long racing events.
