Tried 4 different Air Cleaner set-ups - THIS is what I needed to be able to close the hood on my 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible with a new intake and Holley carb - WITHOUT having to buy an L88 Hood, and that expense $$$ !!

Will this work on a 79 Trans am with 403? It has the Edelbrock RPM performer and a 750 Demon carb. with an electric choke. I am looking to fit the shaker hood. Thanks,
