I had purchased a less expensive column and then ran across an article about the cheaper columns that are imported and the fact that a lot of them were failing in the tilt mechanism. I returned that one for this Ididit column for the piece of mind, knowing that Ididit is manufactured in the USA and they have an excellent reputation for top quality products. I am very pleased with my purchase even though I had to pay more for it. This is one area that I don't want to skimp on, safety first!

Hi wanting to purchase this Steering column but just want to check a couple of things first On the Ididit site using this same part number (1130300010) its spec show it as a 8 position tilt & with a 12 position removable indexable lower shift arm but in your description it shows as a 5 position tilt which I'm not to concerned about but would be good confirm 5 or 8 tilt position. I mainly need to confirm that it does have the indexable 12 position lower arm. look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

I need a steering column that will match with a 1979 Cougar steering box that is located directly below the original exit door on my 1956 Ford panel truck. What kind of adaptor do I need to go from the 1" DD to the Ford box?
