GM LS Series Engine Motor Mount Adapter Kit for 1970-71 Camaro

This engine mount adapter kit enables easy, bolt-in installation of any GM LS Series engine (1997-2013) into your second gen (70-71) Camaro when using the tower type frame mount. (For the 1972-81 application using a clamshell type mount, please consider item # 916-18017 noted below).  The kit comes with adapter plates, engine mount stands, and all required hardware. This kit maintains the bellhousing in the original V8 position.

These LS engine conversion motor mount adapters create clearance interference with the OEM lower passenger side A/C compressor bracket. The factory bracket is not compatible in this configuration. Proper A/C fitment requires either a compressor relocation bracket or an aftermarket accessory drive system utilizing a smaller, short body A/C compressor.
