Most electric fan relay kit options on the market today are universal in nature, providing a temperature switch and a selection of threaded bushings to allow the fan relay wiring to work with just about any application. The LS engine, however, uses metric threads for its coolant port in the cylinder heads, which means finding a special metric to NPT thread bushing to complete the installation. Why not just make a direct thread temperature switch in the LS engine’s specific 12mm x 1.5 thread pitch? Well, that’s exactly what we did. Now you don’t have to deal with a special thread adapter and keep your installation looking clean and OEM-like with a direct thread temperature switch for your LS swap fan wiring.

Manufactured from solid brass, our direct thread LS temperature switch is the perfect solution for your LS fan relay wiring. Used to control the ground side of your single or dual fan relay kit, the switch closes at 205F (±5), providing a ground path for your electric fan relay kit through the engine block to chassis ground. Once the switch sees 185F (±5) the connection opens, removing the ground path and turning your fan(s) off. So, whether you’re creating your own LS swap fan wiring, or planning to use a universal dual electric fan relay kit, our LS swap electric fan temperature switch will help control your LS swap electric fan properly with an easy and clean installation.
