This is a great quality pressure plate all around and came with our T5 TKX kit for ford flatheads. What we found after installation of the entire driveline is that this PP is outrageously stiff on the applied pressure needed for clutch disengagement for older traditional Ford mechanical clutch throw-out linkages. Driving all day in a vehicle outfitted with this PP would be a nightmare for anyone with a marginally bad knee. Downright impossible for those with knee damage. In other words, get the knee replacement first if this is your intended PP. As such we had to pull the entire engine and driveline once again to find a suitable replacement. We ended up using the stock 10" 19A-7563-N pressure plate that came with our replacment flathead. The counterweights of PP 19A-7563-N (not this speedway part) will need to be removed in order to not contact the inside reinforcement ring of the speedway T5 bellhousing conversion adapter 91628912. You can also have a machinist remove some material from the 91628912 adapter itself, but may be inadvisable given the overall wall thickness of the tunnel portion of the adapter at ~0.2". If too much material is machined beyond the initial reinforcement ring this could lead to catastrophic failure of the adapter itself. Obligatory Note: Speedway does not advise any modification to it's adapters in this application and will not be held liable in the event of failure. Alternate PP 91628912 would more than likely be inadvisable for higher HP flathead builds, especially supercharged and blueprinted applications. Best of luck on your build.

Bought the T5 conversion adapter with bearings & throwout. Wish I'd seen the PP/ clutch combo, bought each separately. The PP has the counterweights removed, just bolt it up. The install was straight forward, you'll need some new bolts, linkage pins & 49 to 50" driveshaft with the s10 front yoke.
