Vintage style street rods are hotter than ever, and nothing gives your fenderless rod an authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of lakester headers. These lake style header kits allow you to build your own weld up headers and tailor them to your vehicle. All tubing comes pre-bent. Tapered cones can be trimmed as needed. Lakester header kit includes parts to complete both sides.

  • 5/16" thick flanges
  • 16 ga. pre-bent tubing
  • Collector flanges w/ block-off plates
  • Flanges for connecting an under-car exhaust system (2.5" O.D.)

Went together well . pieces they supply got the job done tacked them up in the chassis got all the bends where I needed them than took off and tig welded them on the bench just wish they had them in stainless would recamend

approximately 2 years I purchased your header kit for the flathead v8.after thinking about how I was going to make the quick turn upward.to clear the fenders.I begin to start cutting and tracking until I finally had header assembled.now all I had to do is make one that look the same for the other side.once I was able to do that it was off to be tig welded and then to the powder coating. I think they turned out pretty good.

Are these headers pre cut for the pipes to be welded into the cones or do I have to cut the holes. Also, I am placing my 1951 8BA on to a 28-29 frame, are the pipes engineered to come straight out off of the block or are they angled?
