The 10" clutch replacement product is widely appreciated for its quality and practicality. Customers praise its fitting precision, especially noting its great usability when paired with a Model B Ford in F.A.S.T. hill climbs or a T5 Chevy trans behind a Ford flathead. Users commend the durability and effective performance of the pressure plate, and even though slight modifications are needed for particular adapters, the perfection of its fit and invaluable tech support regarding bolt spacing and finger count are highlights. Some customers had to adjust the adapter bellhousing while installation, but they are pleased with the final outcome, confirming it's a reliable upgrade from the standard 9" clutch. Despite few issues like initial bending, the product's quality stands superior, ensuring customer satisfaction.

10" clutch to replace a 9" clutch
I run this pressure plate behind a Model B Ford in a speedster for F.A.S.T. ( Ford A Speed Technology) hill climbs. I use a Cling's A to B transmission adapter and a Speedway B to Chevy adapter. I had to fly cut Speedway adapter a little to clear the counter-weights on the pressure plate. This pressure plate will NOT fit with the standard B transmission because the counter-weights hit the bell housing.

I would NOT buy this again
I purchased the Flathead 10 Inch Long Style pressure plate, clutch and conversion adapter to put an S-10 Transmission behind my 59AB flathead. The clutch chattered so bad, I couldn't drive my '32 Coupe. I took the engine in and out 4 times trying to find the problem. Turns out one of the fingers on the pressure plate was .060" higher than the other 2. Also the throw out bearing was machined .040" lower on one side where the "Y" arm contacts the bearing. Terrible parts from a manufacturer that does not measure the finished parts, so between both parts, there was .100" off to make the clutch chatter. Very disappointed in the quality.

Bolted to flywheel. Make sure your bolt spacing is correct. Fit the later truck case with no running.

My car is a 1947 Ford 239 V/8. The pressure plate is a 10 inch. The bolt pattern is 3 sets of 2 bolts 3.125" apart, but the bolt circle is 11.375". Does this fit? The disc is 10 spline 1 3/8".

need Long style clutch for 63 Buick 215 V8 flywheel Will this pressure plate work? Here are the specs on the flywheel I have; 3 groups of two threaded holes spaced 3.125 apart. Flywheel is drilled for 5/16x 18 thread bolts and as near as I can tell it is a 11.5 bolt circle (5.75" from center of bolt hole to center of flywheel. I will need the 11/8 26 spline disc as well as I'm using a GM V8 T5 transmission.
