Easy install and set up on a 292 Y block. Replaced a Chinese copy of the original single barrel that came with the truck. I upgraded to the 4bbl intake at the same time, and the difference in power from this old motor was staggering. This carb did require different jets and needles at 5030' elevation, but those parts are affordable and easy to come by and very simple to install. I would absolutely recommend this part to anyone else.

Couldn't get my rat rod to run at all, tried everything, had an old Holley 600 on it so I decided to give this 500 a shot. Unbelievable....bolted it on, started the car, it ran ok, set the timing and the car came to life and ran beautiful. Right out of the box ready to go, no adjustments needed.

I just purchased this carb and the offenhauser intake manifold for my 53 ford flathead. This may be a stupid question but where should i hook the PCV port into from the carb? My flathead is not equipped with a PCV valve. Also the 2 small ports on either side of the PCV port not too sure where they go either. If you could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

I have a Chevy 383. Currently running 1407 Edelbrock carb. I am running so rich cant stand in garage after 5 min. I am not sure the specs on motor. I have tried different jets and what not with no luck. After some research I am thinking I have to big of a carb. I have done the carb calculator thing. I did 5000 rpms cause I have yet to get that high. 383 x 5000 x 0.85 divided by 3456 = 470. So with that done I been looking at a 500cfm or a 600cfm carb. What's all your thoughts? Will a smaller carb make a big difference? thanks
