Picked up this spring tester after getting some springs that were used and not marked. After getting the tester in the mail I set it up in a matter of minutes and began testing. Starting with a spring that had a known rating and it tested dead on. I have found that you will need to test each spring 2-3 to be sure you dont give yourself a bad reading. The only downfall I have found it that the lowest number on the gauge is 200lbs which is not clearly marked anywhere.
