These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with BBC 454 to 470 CID with "Old School" OEM 049/781 heads to a max of 5700 RPM, or Brodix Race Rite 270's to 6000 rpm. If you like your neighbors, don't buy this cam. It makes long black marks on the street. Headers with 13/4" tubes & 3" collector recommended. Use minimum of 850 CFM carb. We also recommend either a dual plane intake with notched divider or single plane. Great with power brakes. 800 RPM Idle.
