Just what I needed

I just bought for the filter. I needed the extra inch to spare, than that of the 3". The chrome seems to be a durable coating and filter of decent quality. (Cannot be compared however, to that of a K&N or other oiled filter.) But, for a low cost you can have a filter with chrome housing that if the chrome where to come off would not be so bad to have to buy another every 2-3 years at this price.
