Return PolicyIf you are installing a set of our Aluminum Hot Rod Bomber Seats, either the smooth back bomber seats or the lightened bomber seats, our bomber seat bottom pads are sure to provide many hours of comfort on the road. Constructed of a dense molded foam core with a hard backing, these bomber seat cushions are then covered in the same black tweed-like material as our Speedway Bomber Seat Back Covers. These bomber seat pads measure 12-1/4 inches long and are 2 inches tall at the front, tapering to 3-1/2 inches tall at the rear. The cushions are 14 inches wide at the front and taper to 15-3/4 inches at the rear. The material can easily be vacuumed, or spot cleaned in place, or simply remove them from your Speedway bomber seats for deeper cleaning out of the vehicle.
These Speedway seat cushion bottom pads are not designed for the Aluminum Hot Rod Bomber Seat DIY kit due to the wider width of these seats but may still be an option if secured with double-sided foam tape, hook-and-loop tape, or other method.

Customers find the seat pads to be a great addition to their hot rod builds, adding much-needed comfort to their bomber seats. They appreciate the good fit and nice appearance, with several users confirming their suitability and good fit for vintage vehicles. The pads are crafted from a woven black material, not PVC as some initially assumed, adding to the product's appeal. On the downside, some users reported the seats melting under sunlight and lack of sufficient cushioning or support. Nonetheless, many customers would purchase again, suggesting product improvements could lead to a better user experience. Still, the majority of users were pleased with the quality, fair pricing, and added comfort. Please note, some customers had to modify the product to fit their specific seat models.

Comfortable Seat Pads
These are great seat pads that fit the aluminum bomber seats perfectly. They are strong, and nicely upholstered. They are a black vinyl, not a carbon fiber pattern as described, which is awesome, because who wants carbon fiber in a hot rod???

Unfortunately, I had to return them.
I eagerly anticipated the installation of the bomber seat pads. I was literally "sorely" disappointed. The pads offered little to no cushion or support. The tailbone area of the seat (my most in need of padding) got no padding at all. The construction quality was far below what I have become accustomed to from Speedway products. They were cheaply made with cheap materials. I returned the product to Speedway for a full refund. However, I lost $20 to ship it back. I suggest that Speedway evaluate the materials and construction quality of their bomber seat pads and make some dramatic improvements.
