BluePrint Engines BF427FK4R7C Details

This high-output 427 c.i. Small Block Ford–compatible BluePrint Engine delivers 541 horsepower and 519 lb-ft of torque, making it an excellent choice for aggressive street builds, restomods, and performance enthusiasts seeking a reliable powerplant with serious horsepower and torque. Built around a 9.5-inch deck height Windsor-based BluePrint high-strength cast iron block featuring a 4.125-inch bore, 4-bolt main caps, one-piece rear main seal, and a forged rotating assembly. It is topped with CNC-ported BluePrint Engines aluminum cylinder heads and a matched hydraulic roller camshaft, providing exceptional airflow and a broad, responsive powerband. With a 10.0:1 compression ratio, this engine is optimized for 91+ octane pump gas, delivering impressive performance without sacrificing drivability. Backed by BluePrint Engines’ industry-leading 30-month / 50,000-mile warranty.

The 427ci Small Block Ford achieved modern legend status through its use in the industry’s top Cobra and Cobra replica builders where it became known for producing massive power in lightweight chassis. These engines helped redefine the capabilities of the Windsor-based platform, particularly in high-end Cobra replicas and continuation-style builds. Weighing significantly less than a traditional big block, the 427 stroker enhances front-end balance, handling, and braking, making it a proven choice for performance-focused applications.
