ATK Engines SP115 Details

The ATK SP115 Chevy LM7 5.3L GEN IV short block is built using a seasoned 5.3L Gen IV block from 1999-2007, delivering 330 cubic inches of displacement with a 3.810" bore and 3.622" stroke. It features an OEM GM 58-tooth reluctor wheel crankshaft, forged powder metal connecting rods, and stock hypereutectic flat-top pistons with two valve reliefs, providing compression ratios of 9.8:1 with 61cc heads, 9.5:1 with 64cc heads, and 9.1:1 with 68cc heads (compression may vary depending on deck height and head gasket thickness). The short block is assembled with plasma-moly rings, camshaft bearings installed and clocked to OEM specifications, and freeze and oil galley plugs that are installed and sealed. It is internally balanced and recommended to use a matching internal balance balancer, flexplate, and head gasket for optimal performance.
