Overall Assessment

The product is highly recommended for vehicle modifications, especially for models like the 1967 Nova and Ford Model A. Customers have praised the part for its practicality and suitability for their projects. They stand out as components for both rear suspensions and frame builds. Notably, they enhanced the stability of a 1940 ford 2 door sedan by reducing road sway. The material quality is such that they are suitable for even complex assembly tasks and are user-friendly, simplifying the process of reworking upper shock mounts.

The shocks have 1/2" bolt holes & all 4 link kits, whether it is Pete & Jakes, Welder series ect. have 5/8" bolt holes. This caused me to machine bushings for the bottom end to fit the rearend bracket. Since I hadn't drilled the upper crossmember yet, it was no problem. I knew this up front, so if you can't machine bushings, look at other shocks.

I used them in conjunction with the front leaf springs on a 1940 ford 2 door sedan with a bell dropped axel. They took out most of the road sway. I had to redo the upper shock mount. Was easy to do and did the job. Jim Sugden
