Overall Assessment

Customers generally appreciate the aesthetic and finish of our product. They commend the inclusion of all necessary gaskets and bolts, which aids in its practicality. However, some buyers experienced fit issues with specific motor mounts or steering gear boxes, suggesting greater compatibility with rack and pinion steering. The product's usability was positively highlighted by a customer who successfully installed it after some adjustments and was willing to buy another for future use. Despite some adaptation needs, customers praised its overall quality and suitability for specific projects.

Awesome looking headers. Came with all gaskets and bolts needed, however, they would not fit with my motor mounts. It's always a shot in the dark with motor swapped cars.

Great headers at a great price and fast shipping

Headers fit good with LS2 in a 57 belair, but the second pipe on the drivers side goes straight down in front of the rack and pinion. Would probably work with a stock gear box

Fits well with a little patience.

At first they looked like they wouldn't fit. I have a 1956 Chevrolet 210 with a 5.3/4l60e combo. Speedway motor mounts (forward platform style with the rubber pucks) and a set of coverstion plates for the 5.3 to sbc adapter plates. The key to the install was to un bolt the motor mount and lift the driver side of the engine for install. Have some patience and use masking tape to protect you ahc coating. The steering box is super close. But a small amount of filing on the gear box upper cap edge gave me about 3/8 clearance. I also shimmed my motor mount puck about 1/4 of an inch to accommodate the headers. (But I custom fabricated my adapter plates to sit as low as possible)

This product looks great.

The left header won't clear my series 500 power steering gear box. My LS engine is on 3/4 forward mounts which should allow better clearance but the #3 cyl. tube hits the leading right corner of the gear box. This CPP box comes with an aluminum cover that can't be used without modification as well. The header appears to clear the gear box but only without a gasket. It looks as though the only way to make it fit is to clearance the #3 tube by dimpling it. These headers look like they would work without modification with rack and pinion steering.
