I used these headers on my 55 Belair Sedan with a steering box. These headers do fit with the steering box but it is a tight fit and I had to take the steering box loose to be able to move it a little to get the header in place. One the passenger side they hit the motor mount by a lot, motor mount part number UP154821. I had to cut a large relief in the mount to get them to pass through the mount.

Will these headers work on a 55 Chevy 150 with ls1 and ccp 500 steering box part number 930c46

I bought a set of these headers for my 55 B210. I have an Ls engine mounted 3/4" forward for firewall clearance. These headers dont come close to mating to the head before coming into hard contact and binding against the original steering box. They dont appear to be designed to fit this application at all. I'm 68 years old and have installed lots of headers over the years and just dont see any way for these to fit. I'm a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran and can't afford the high dollar name brand headers that might fit. Solutions ??????????????? Thanks

Would these work on a 67 corvette with an LS3 with rack an pinion an manual clutch and not be too low? the car is very low. I have headers now that would also fit 67-69 camaro but hang down too much, drag on every thing. Any help would be great.
