There is no reason not to run an aluminum radiator in your '32 Ford hot rod anymore. At first, people were leery they would not stand up to vibration. Then they thought they would be damaged easily. Our radiators have stood the test of time and have proven themselves to be reliable, tough and efficient in both cooling and cost. These radiators are designed for Chevy engines in a 1932 Ford chassis and work with stock '32 grille shells.
- Quality, rugged, 100% TIG-welded aluminum construction
- For Chevy engine in a 1932 Ford chassis
- Use with stock height '32 Ford grille shell
- Two rows of 1" furnace brazed cores
- Dummy filler neck in the original location
- Includes brackets for radiator support rods
- Built-in automatic transmission cooler - 1/8" NPT inlet
- Drain petcock
- 1/2" NPT port at the bottom for sending unit
- Stamped upper & lower tanks
- Lower tank depth is 3” front to back
- Upper tank depth is 3-¾” front to back
- Side straps/baffles are 4” from front to back
- Radiator neck extends 1” up past upper tank

Fantastic Quality
The aluminum radiator in my Son's 1930 Model A pickup with a 32 grille started leaking and needed replacement. I found a "9893D" stamping on the radiator. My Son contacted the previous owner to see if he could recall where he had purchased the radiator many years ago while building the pickup. Speedway was the answer and my Son searched your catalog and found the exact same radiator still available so I ordered it for him. The radiator arrived in great condition and his rod is back on the road.

A good price but top brackets need some work
When I took it out of the box I was impressed with the radiator ... the way it was wrapped in the box but I noticed that the top brackets were not welded the same ... they were welded with thick aluminum but one of the angles were off ... I will find out if its OK when I am ready to put it on.

Installed radiator, filled with anti-freeze, started engine to Bild up pressure to check for leaks. Drain leaked in lower section of radiator, had to drain anti-freeze out and add plumber tape to the drain to stop the leak. Would have been nice to know that had to be done before I filled the radiator with antifreeze again, no leaks!!
