Authentic reproduction stamped steel grille shell for 1928-1929 Ford Model A. Has center hood hinge rod bracket installed. Shell is pre-drilled for hood lacing and slotted for attachment to the radiator brackets.
- Overall height from bottom to top of flange at radiator neck opening is 28”
- Overall width of radiator opening at widest point is 18-5/8”
- Overall height of radiator opening at center below eyebrow is also 18-5/8”
- Width at widest point across front at outside edges is 21-1/4”
- Widest point at rear not including inset for hood is 22-11/16”
- Widest point at rear at hood inset is 22-7/16”
- One 3/4” hole on each side 10-7/8” up from the bottom of side for headlight wiring.
- One 3/4” hole 4-1/8” up on drivers side for horn wiring
- Shell is 4" deep
Unit measures 29" tall and 4" deep.

Quailty crome is very good, and shell is very good. As you can see it looks really Awesome! I like my straight axle that I bought from you. I'm 73 years old and just thought I'd build me a street rod. I and my wife fabbed it our selves. It will be done in May . When i'm done you could put it on one of your parts magazine if you would like. Oh those are your headlights too.

1928-29 Radiator shell
The opening for the radiator neck at the top wasn't large enough to allow it to slide down over it. It required grinding the inside of the opening to allow enough clearance. The sides are not very smooth. The ripples from a poor job of stamping are very evident. For the price it serves as a replacement for the original.

Haven't got it on yet installed the belting and Ford sign, Was really careful working on it but ended up with scuff marks. Had it on a couple of sweatshirts so don't know if I did it or didn't notice them when it arrived.All is good will look grreat!Recomend it.
