Customers highly recommend this grille shell, nodding to its excellent quality and fit similar to the original parts. They appreciate its affordability and its versatile usability in various car models from a 1929 model A truck to a 28 roadster pickup. It is praised for being suitable for custom car building and Rat Rod projects. The raw, unpainted state allows customization ease. It's recognized for superior detail in features like the hood lip and hinge points. Some users mentioned slight tooling marks, but overall, customers find it a great deal for the price, praising its solid construction and stating that it's definitely superior to most alternatives in the market.

Quality stamping
This is a good quality grill, and is better than the price you pay. The edges are a bit sharp when handling, but that's how metal work goes. No complaints! It is original shape and size! I had to cut it up and modify to suit the build, but knew that going in, but hurt cutting up a nice piece.

Not the best stamping
Lots of stamping tool marks... Not best shell but definitely a body man's special.

It comes in a nice, heavy cardboard box, and is wrapped in an oily plastic bag inside. It's not painted, just raw, which is nice, as we all know it'll need modification for most hot rod applications. I haven't used it yet, but it's DEFINITELY better than most anything you'll find at the boneyard or swapmeet.
