1969 Ford Custom Low Drag Parts

There's something special about your first car. Here are a few from the Speedway Motors team.

This drag and drive '49 Mercury is not at all what you'd expect from a chopped Merc. It's part custom, part hot rod, and built to do it all.

Learn how to lower a hot rod by modifying the axles and some history behind early hop ups. This project features a Ford axle with wishbones for a Model A.

In this Tech Tip, John offers some suggestions about lowering a 1967 Chevelle.

When Tyson picked up his '69 SS396, all the trim was in the trunk. We follow along as he installs the shiny stuff to finish out his project.

To keep this project moving forward, Jeff installs a gear reduction mini starter on his big block. See how to apply the mini starter on 153 or 168 tooth flexplates.
