    Wilwood 140-9838-R Details

    W4AR Big Brake rear axle kits replace the factory disc brakes and use the OE parking brake assembly as a compliment to front big brake upgrades on late model trucks and SUVs. High capacity braking from the W4AR calipers, BP-10 compound pads, and oversized rotors are matched to the OE master cylinder output, ABS function, and individual vehicle bias requirements. Enhanced brake performance, increased durability, and high-tech style compliment big wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on customized vehicles, tow rigs, and all others with increased brake requirements from high GVW.

    Specs

    Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
