Wilwood 140-18163-DR AERO4 Big Rear Electronic Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18163-DR is the red-caliper version of the AERO4 big rear electronic parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It delivers the same large-capacity rear braking and EPB function as the black version, but with red calipers for stronger visual presence.

This version is a premium fit for custom trucks where the rear brake package is intended to be both functional and highly visible behind larger wheels.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
