Wilwood 140-18162-R AERO4 Big Brake Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18162-R is a red AERO4 big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends using 14.00-inch GT slotted rotors. It provides large rear rotor capacity, visible red caliper styling, and OE-style parking brake compatibility in a cleaner slotted rotor format.

This kit works well for custom trucks that need stronger rear braking and a polished performance appearance without the drilled rotor style.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
