Wilwood 140-18162-D AERO4 Big Brake Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18162-D is a black AERO4 big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends using 14.00-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors. It is designed for truck builds that need larger rear rotor capacity and more aggressive styling while retaining the OE parking brake assembly.

The AERO4 four-piston calipers and larger rear rotor package make this a substantial rear brake upgrade for bigger wheels and more serious performance use.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
