Wilwood 140-18162 AERO4 Big Brake Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18162 is an AERO4 big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends with a 2.46-inch offset. It is intended for builds that need a more serious rear brake package to complement large front brakes, bigger wheels, and upgraded suspension.

This kit uses black powder-coated AERO4 four-piston radial-mount calipers, 14.00-inch GT slotted rotors, and BP-10 pads. By retaining the OE parking brake assembly, it keeps practical street use while significantly improving rear braking capacity and overall appearance.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
