Wilwood 140-18161 Forged Superlite 4R Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18161 is a Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear electronic parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It delivers the same strong rear braking benefits as the standard parking brake version, but replaces cable operation with an electronic parking brake system for easier integration on modern custom builds.

This package uses black powder-coated four-piston calipers, 12.88-inch GT slotted rotors, and a straight bell hat to create a clean and capable rear brake setup. It is a smart option for builders seeking a modernized rear brake and parking brake solution.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
