Wilwood 140-18157-DR AERO6 Big Brake Front Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18157-DR is the red-caliper version of the 15-inch AERO6 big front brake kit for Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. It combines maximum rotor diameter with red six-piston calipers and SRP drilled and slotted rotors for a brake package that delivers both major stopping capability and strong visual impact.

This kit is especially appealing for large custom builds where the wheel size allows the brake package to be highly visible and fully appreciated as part of the vehicle’s overall design.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
