Wilwood 140-18151-D Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18151-D is a black Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit for Big Ford New Style rear ends using 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors. It is designed for builders who want a more compact rear brake system with aggressive rotor styling and dependable parking brake function.

The kit uses black powder-coated four-piston calipers, BP-10 pads, and an internal shoe parking brake design to keep the installation clean while delivering strong static holding power. This version is well suited for muscle cars and custom street builds that need a serious rear brake upgrade.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
