Ratings & Reviews

Customers appreciate the tool for its high quality, sturdy build and user-friendly design, making gear assembly and adjustments easier. While it fits most bearing adjusters, customers noted the tool is especially suitable for regular-sized bearings and 9" adjusters. Several customers suggested that the tool's pin positioning may not fit all bearing caps and deemed it primarily beneficial for small-to-medium carrier bearings. A few customers further adapted the tool for broader usability, indicating its potential for customizable fitting. Overall, customers found it a good value option over pricier competitors with reliably solid performance, despite needing more specific fitting information.

Should have a 1/2" opening in place of the closest round hole so a 1/2" Torque wrench could be used to set the pre load on a 9" ford side bearings. Some suggest 150-175lbs for a final setting to prevent any ring gear flex.Hard to do with just your hand on this wrench so I squared a hole out and it worked fine.

Good and bad
I bought this to set up a Yukon Gear 3.25" bearing Ford 9 inch. Overall the tool is well built, feels good in your hand, and is nicely finished. The bad thing is the pins are not positioned in a manner to fit the bearing caps. It may fit the smaller bearing carriers but I can't say for sure. I didn't want to make one but I ended up making one anyway.

Nicely made tool but it was advertised for a ford 9" to adjust the backlash spinners. I was using a new housing but the tool did not fit the adusters ,too small. But Ill keep it for the future.
