Wehrs Machine offers these lightweight 1/2" -20 fine thread hood pins with the flange machined on them for the hood to sit on so you don't have to put a rubber hose on the pin. These hood pins with shoulder are constructed out of high quality aluminum and feature an anodized finish. Threads are RH Female and the thread pitch is 1/2"-20.

In order to use these hood pins you need two jam nuts to mount each hood pin. Only one jam nut is included so you will have to buy an additional jam nut do use.

may work best with aluminum body panels or carbon panels traditional fiberglass too thick. (at least in my case). Measure.... I though I could cut additional threads if needed. They are of High tinsel high quality aluminum.
