Windshield wiper motor kit is supplied with an adjustable wiper arm (# 911-23505) (adjust from 7" to 11") and an 11" cut-to-fit wiper blade (# 911-23506), to further fine tune this kit for your car or truck.

Overall Assessment

Customers have positively recommended our wiper motor kit for its ease of installation, adjustability to fit, and functionality in different vehicles such as 1930 Ford Model A coupe, side by side vehicles, and Yamaha Viking UTV, among others. The product's quality and practical usability are lauded, with customers highlighting the wiper's performance even under prolonged rainfall during trips. Users have appreciated its compact design and excellent wiring system, providing clear visibility without consuming much space. Customers have used it to conveniently replace older, malfunctioning wiper systems and even in unique applications like tractors and custom builds. Despite needing a bit of skill and customization in some instances, customers found the motor kit to be a good value for money and would purchase again. However, concerns were raised about unclear instructions and potentially incorrect sweep angle in product descriptions.

NICE LITTLE WIPER - GOOD PRICE

Installed on roadster with a 12" high windshield and 7/8" frame. Used the mounting clamp from SpeedWay. The only instructions are for wiring and the wiring is the easiest part. I mounted the clamp, installed the wiper unit to measure amount to remove from shat and shaft housing. Then removed the unit and shortened the shaft housing and shaft about 7/8". There is a place for each piece of rubber that is furnished including the grommet that fits in the mounting plate. You need a longer screw to fit through the grommet and mounting plate so it will screw into the threaded hole in the windshield mounting clamp. I had to shorten the wiper arm to 6" and I had an 8" blade from another project.

Simple wiper setup. Does what it's suppo

Like mentioned already, the instructions are lacking any type of detail. The wiper blade included was not flat to the glass but I fixed that. The threaded collar and wiper shaft will need to be cut to fit. There are no instructions or measurements to do this. Once I determined the length I needed for the threaded sleave I removed the four screws holding the plate and threaded sleave to the motor. This will alow you to slide the sleave off of the shaft to cut it. Once that was done I pre-assembled the unit with the rubber sleave for the shaft and determined the final length of the shaft. Then disassembled it again and cut the shaft in a vice. Everything worked out fine and it does what I need it to do. Just assemble everything, measure twice and you should be okay.

I bought this to use in my vapor hone cabinet. IT works OK, but could use a bit more power. Not anyone fault, as I use it outside it's reccomended design parameters.

I replaced the original vacuum operated wiper motor with this electric motor. You need spacers that do not come with the motor. It was not too hard to install once I figured out the spacers I needed and got the holes drilled in the right spot. The wiper blade will not trim so that it gives good coverage, so I am just letting overlap. This is on a 33 Ford pickup.
