The Turbosmart TS-1 6870 Reverse Rotation Performance Turbocharger is a high-performance, oil-cooled turbocharger designed for serious street and motorsport applications where packaging flexibility and exceptional power potential are required. Built using advanced materials, CFD-optimized housings, and lightweight rotating components, the TS-1 series delivers rapid spool-up, impressive transient response, and outstanding durability under extreme operating conditions.

This configuration features a 68mm compressor inducer, 70mm turbine exducer, V-Band turbine housing, 0.96 A/R turbine ratio, and an external wastegate configuration for precise boost management. The reverse-rotation design is especially useful in mirror-image twin-turbo installations, allowing symmetrical turbo placement and cleaner intake and exhaust routing in custom builds.

At the core of the TS-1 6870 is a proprietary dual ceramic bearing system, aggressive 7+7 billet 2618 aluminum splitter-wheel compressor, and a high-temperature 713C Inconel turbine wheel. Combined with lightweight 310S stainless-steel investment-cast turbine housings, these features minimize rotational inertia and improve responsiveness while maintaining excellent airflow and reliability. The turbocharger is rated to support approximately 850-990 horsepower, making it an ideal choice for high-output performance builds.
