The Turbosmart eBG50 Electronic BoostGate 50 Charge Air Valve is an advanced electronic boost-control solution designed to regulate boost pressure directly from the charge pipe rather than relying solely on traditional exhaust-side wastegate control. Utilizing a 50mm butterfly-style valve, the eBG50 precisely bleeds compressed air from the cold side of the turbocharger system, delivering exceptional boost resolution, rapid response, and consistent boost management for high-performance applications.

Unlike conventional external wastegates that control turbocharger speed by diverting exhaust gas around the turbine, the BoostGate 50 directly manages compressed charge air downstream of the turbocharger. This makes it especially effective in drag racing and other motorsports applications where turbocharger sizing is already optimized and ultra-precise boost control is critical for repeatable performance. The zero-offset butterfly design provides high flow capacity while maintaining excellent control over boost levels.

Manufactured from lightweight billet aluminum and equipped with a stainless-steel butterfly and shaft assembly, the eBG50 combines durability with reduced mass. The valve features patented Zero-Backdrive gearbox technology for lower power consumption and faster response, along with integrated valve-position and temperature sensors for advanced electronic monitoring and control.
